Natural Running

Natural Running, also known as barefoot or minimalist running, is a method of running that uses our body’s natural bio mechanics. Attributes of natural running include a fast cadence (ideally 180SPM), landing on the forefoot instead of the heel, gently absorbing impact via the knees and hips, and lifting the leg up instead of pushing off the foot, which utilizes the natural spring mechanism of the foot and leg. When done correctly, natural running can significantly reduce common injuries associated with running, like plantar fasciitis and shinsplints.
